Tasks and responsibilities
- Operating and transporting robots for demos, field demonstrations, trials, etc.
- Supporting and training farmers in the use of robots for weed control in various crops
- Providing and collecting feedback on robot operations
- Designing, building, testing, and optimizing technical solutions
- Organizing and conducting tests, producing prototype iterations
- Manufacturing mechanical parts
- Prototyping the electrical wiring of robots and components
- Performing on-site repairs and training
Required qualifications
- Experience with sales, maintenance, rental, and sale of agricultural machinery
- Excellent communication skills to provide qualitative feedback to developers
- Ability to improvise with simple technical solutions
- Completed training as a farmer, mechanic, or electrician, or a bachelor's degree and professional experience in agriculture
- Experience in mechanical engineering and electrical engineering
- BE driver's license
- Willingness to travel within Germany and the EU
Farming Revolution
Farming revolution is a German company headquartered in Böhmenkirch, Baden-Württemberg. Since 2019, we have been building machines by farmers for farmers.
Our focus is on farmers and contractors. We aim to provide them with a gentle, sustainable, and at the same time economical alternative to today's weed control.
For this purpose, we have developed the Farming GT - a fully electric hoeing robot with all-wheel drive that safely and autonomously clears crops of weeds.
Our core competencies lie in reliable AI-based plant recognition and driverless navigation, as well as efficient electromechanical hoeing units.
